History

QUANTUM - AutoMARKET is a software team specialized in  development of software tailored to the automotive industry.

We have commenced in 2001, as a software company created from Quantum company, which has been successfully operated in the field of automotive industry for eight years until then, as importer and distributor of the spare parts for passenger vehicles program.

The idea for creating of software department originates from Quantum's long term experience in selling and distribution of spare parts and understanding of the advantages of IT technologies for representing its own selling assortment.

Since its conception, QUANTUM - AutoMARKET team has worked on the development of the first Internet portal about the automotive industry in Serbia, www.AutoMARKET.co.yu, which also encompassed the first domestic Online wholesale, created for the promotion and sales of Quantum's assortment.

Since the founding we have been led by the idea of modernizing the offer and sale of spare parts via the software system which would enable the simplest and the most efficient communication channel between the buyer and the seller.

One of the first big projects was the development of E-cenovnik in 2003, the software package especially tailored for the needs of the insurance companies.

2004 sees QUANTUM - AutoMARKET's team creating a multilingual electronic catalogue for Italian company MEAT&DORIA. This innovative product served to replace the paper catalogues used thus far. This modern software solution was presented by MEAT&DORIA to its clients at Automechanika Frankfurt 2004.

After MEAT&DORIA project, we continue with intensive work on our software system and along with development activities, in 2005 our business grows and advances through the business relationships with the renowned German companies in the field of automotive industry, leading to partnership with TecDoc company (leading provider of electronic information about spare parts for the European market), and becoming their agent and distributor of TecDoc electronic catalogue in our market.

During 2006, we have become representatives of TecCom, leading B2B platform in the auto industry, which connect more than 300 world manufacturers and wholesalers with their clients.

Our aim was to construct a software system which would encompass a complete business system, including the process of presenting and ordering of the sales assortment, advance the system of articles and prices updates, and enable the continuous and uninterrupted communication between dealers and their customers.

In 2005 the first version of Odyssey, a unique tool for creating and maintaining spare parts databases, has been developed. Odyssey is the basic solution of our system and foundation for creating catalogues.

During 2006, we have begun our cooperation with SHOPGROUP company from Belgrade, for which we created electronic catalogue ShopKAT, B2B platform, with the implementation of our other solutions, in order to completely modernize and automate the business of this renowned spare parts wholesaler.

Acknowledgement and affirmation of our ideas came to realization in last year's Automechanika 2008, where we exhibited. The presentation of our products and services generated interest of a great number of different European and global companies, which is especially significant for us.

The cooperation with Romanian company CONEX DISTRIBUTION, we have achieved after Automechanika 2008 fair where we have made first contact of our companies, and for the needs of CONEX DISTRIBUTION business activities we have developed project ConexKAT.

Following the development of modern technologies and market demands, we have started with further development of our products and founded our complete system on web technologies and Cloud Comptuing system. This has nrought many benefits in terms of fast products development along with fast inormation transfer and update,  and simpler communication with our users. Using web technologies, we have started with the development of Webshop systems instead of electronic DVD catalogues and we have enabled our user to use our system only with existing of the Internet connection, because their Webshops are hosted on our server.

In order to promote our new web based syste, we have introduced activating DEMO Webshop systems 30 days free use, in order potential clients to meet with the system practically and decide about its applicability to their needs.

Our new system has gain positive reactions and soon we have got new users and created for them Webshops for spare parts trade. The first user of our web system has become Tanasić Trgotrans company, for which we have created Wholesale Webshop and Retail Webshop.

In 2010, we exhibited again at Frankfurt fair, this time in the scope of National stand of the Republic of Serbia. This exhibition was also very successful for us, we met with our partners, held numerous presentations and achieved contacts with potential users.

After the fair we have got a new use, Romanian company Proton Auto which deals with spare parts wholesale and has the network of repair shops dealing in the scope of Bosch group.

Soon, to our great satisfaction, renowned companies dealing with spare parts wholesale on the domestic market have become our users. This shows us that we are on the right way and that the software system we have developed suits their needs and modernizes and automates their business activities. Those are companies Unitrade from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Inter Cars from Czech Republic, Auto Kreso and Mikra Matik Autodijelovi from Croatia, Tiki Vent from Serbia and Complex.net from Poland.

Participating as exhibitors at the Serbia's National stand at Automechanika Moscow 2011 fair, we have presented our products to the Russian market and achieved our fist contacts with new potential users.

Always thinking how to improve everyday activities of our users, we continue with further development and create new solutions. We have created a web application called Crossfire which is intended for automated pricelists comparing. Also we have created SmartCAL application that turns the vehicle damage calculation containing OE numbers into the offer of adequate aftermarket replacement parts.

QUANTUM - AutoMARKET team continuously works to improve our software system in order to meet all the demands of the automotive industry in the field of spare parts distribution.
